Alban Bagbin Overthrows NPP’s Prof. Aaron Mike Oquaye- Gets Elected As Speaker Of The Eighth Parliament

It is a happy morning for the opposition National Democratic Congress and Honorable Alban Kingsford Sumani Bagbin, the former second deputy speaker of the 7th Parliament and MP for Nadowli Kaleo Constituency. He has just been sworn in as the speaker for the 8th Parliament of the Fourth Republic. The election for the speaker reportedly started a few minutes after 12 midnight and carried on through out the night. We have all seen the display of violence and turmoil that the house suffered from these men, the very people we call honorable who were simply to cast their votes.
