Ghanaian actress Fella Makafui has cleared the air on a viral post which claimed she disrespected the President of Ghana by describing his cloth as cheap. Social media was set ablaze after President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo addressed the nation on the progress made in the fight against the novel coronavirus last Friday, April 10 as the actress was alleged to have described the president's clothing as cheap in a Facebook post. This generated a lot of backlash on social media, forcing the reaction from the YOLO actress. Speaking on Asempa FM, Fella denied owning the Facebook account though admitting she has fan pages she does not have control of. "The brand Fella Makafui has no political affiliation and I'm more concerned about that," she said. "The moment you become a public figure there are some things that you cannot really control because you have fans who love you and create fan pages to show you love and they are harmless.” She noted that she was surprised when she was shown the post but believe people would understood her after she cleared the air on this particular issue. "I was so confused because there is no way I will wake up whether drunk or whatever to talk about the president and I will never do that.” Source | Summary
Exposed For Stealing Feli Nuna’s Song ‘Azuma’

The latest musician in town Fella Makafui has found herself in some hot waters as she's been exposed by Instagram blogger thosecalledcelebs for stealing fast rising female artist Feli Nuna's song. Apparently, Fella Makafui's wack diss song 'Over' has the same rhythm of Feli Nuna's song 'Azuma' and therefore it's believed she stole from her since Feli Nuna released her song before hers. This revelation of the blogger has made some social media users troll Fella Makafui the more saying she can never stop copying others. She started with copying sister Derby's dressing and now copying/stealing someone's song. Though she hasn't said anything about this accusation of song theft, everything seems to go against her when one listens to the two songs. She and her dear husband Medikal are fond of defending almost all their actions on social media but how they are going to defend this is a mystery because everything goes against Fella Makafui. "Recently people are tagging me as a lesbian. They say I sleep with colleague women but I take solace in Exodus 23: 23(For my angel will go before you and bring you into the land of the Amorites, Hittites, Perizzites, Canaanites, Hivites, and Jebusites, so you may live there. And I will destroy them completely)", she said in a recent interview. According to the Ghanaian Gospel singer, who is in her 40s, even though she has had a number of proposals from men, she's still waiting on God's direction to take any personal decision. I prefer to worship the Lord, stay single and inherit the kingdom of God than marry and not go to heaven. A lot of Christians will not go to heaven because of marriage. It is preventing so many Christians from worshipping God," she added. This is not the first time the issue about marriage has come up with the Evangelist. In an interview with Delay on the Delay Show last year, the award-winning singer expressed no interest at all in marriage. I've never been married and I've no child but that isn't my priority now. I've never prayed for my marriage," she told Delay. Source | Summary
