Ghanaian media personality Deloris Frempong Manso popularly known as Delay has left many confused after a ring was spotted on her finger. She posted a photo of herself on Instagram wearing an engagement and a wedding ring, flaunting it which actually got social media users confused. Her fans and followers who were left in awe started congratulating her for finally getting married. Delay's reply to a fan's post started an arguments as she quizzed whether she can't wear a ring in peace anymore. Apparently Delay was just wearing the ring for fashion and not that she was married but her caption was another reason that made people confused. Apart from my disbelief in the existence of a supreme being or anything resembling such a conceptual being, the church as it is today, even if it was a social club, I wouldn't attend. Beyond the fact that most churches are led by a bunch of semi-deluded and illiterate individuals in Africa who would otherwise not even be given audience in the barbershop, the church remains a money-grabbing greed-without any sense to take its members interests into consideration even in challenging times. Outside the scope of churches asking members to send tithes and offertory via mobile money and bank transfer in Ghana amid the ban on public gathering, several churches, including the one my own people in Ghana attend, divided members into groups of 5 to meet and worship this Sunday-and the 30 minutes or so worship was 'purposely' to take tithes and offering. "A friend who attended one of this 5-member service told me this morning: 'I am beginning to see the sense in your disdain for the church. Instead of the church sharing hand sanitizers or coming to the rescue of members in this trying time, it is only concerned about taking monies from these old illiterate women who are unable to go the market to sell.” My friend is disgusted by the action of his own church. The irony is, he was the one in charge of his group and he collected the tithes and offering, to be sent to the main pastor via mobile money this morning. He said he felt really bad about asking the people he met to bring money, especially when he knew that the ban on gathering and the possible impending lockdown in Ghana means these people would have little to nothing to sustain them. The church does not give a hoot-it's a business that only takes money from members and in return offers these members an illusionary better afterlife. I don't remember the last time I gave my money to the church or to a certain God. I am fine, and even doing far better than many who do. Coronavirus does not just kill non-Christians-in fact, several priests have died in Italy. Being a Christian does not offer you any different layer of protection against anything-except the fake angels you are told come to guard you at night. The church and God have always been all about money and controlling the minds of their subjects to be able to take more and more from them without any question. What the churches are doing is embarrassing and it's not even just the one-man KumChaCha-like churches-the one I just wrote about is the freaking Church of Pentecost. What would happen if the church does not take tithes and offerings for the next 3 months? Even banks are giving people payment holidays-and we used to think the Bank was a leech. Source | Summary

Actor Prince David Osei, after initially claiming coronavirus is a conspiracy theory, is now calling it a spiritual problem. Speaking to Joy News, Osei said Ghanaians should pray against the virus because it is a spiritual problem which can only be solved in the spiritual realm. If we want to get anywhere these are the kind of people we should never listen to. When the President announced the first cases of COVID-19 in the country, blockheaded Osei took to social media to declare the whole thing a conspiracy theory. Imagine if instead of taking precautions to protect ourselves we all listened to this intellectually constipated individual? We'd be in real trouble by now. Having been proven wrong on his dumb conspiracy theory idea, Osei has now moved on to ascribe the virus to spiritual reasons. "At the end of the day, I think this one is more spiritual, because you don't see the virus but somebody tells you, you can get it." he told Doreen Avio. "Lately people that are getting it are not showing signs so how do you know someone has it, so personally I think this is the time to pray,". If prayer could help us solve this global issue churches would not be closed down right now. If prayers could help us the world's home of Catholicism would not be in the sh*t they are right now. At least Osei has moved from a conspiracy theory to acknowledging it so he's learning. A Nigerian bride collapsed on her wedding day after she got the shock of her life when her husband-to-be walked out of the ceremony. The man apparently had planned a 10-year revenge mission against the lady, presumably because in the past she did something against him or someone he knows. It worked so well, the bride collapsed and had to be rushed to hospital. The News Agency of Nigeria reports the incident occurred at the God's Glory Ministry in Jos, Plateau State. Family and friends were gathered for the happy union of Rufus Aplang and Judith until Rufus decided to go rogue. An eyewitness, Miss Julian Dogo, narrated what happened to NAN. "Aplang was asked on the altar by the pastor, do you take Judith as your wife for batter for worse? Then he replied with a No'" she narrated. "As soon as he said that, he walked out of the church, and was followed by his best man and his friends who drove out of the church premises," she added.
