The Ghanaian recording artist who performs under the stage name, Edem is lamenting after his politician friends have begun to reject his calls after the election. Last year's election was characterised by several artistes endorsing one political party or the other. It is not known which political party or parliamentary candidate Edem threw his support behind as nothing has been heard of his engagements publicly as others such as Kwabena Kwabena and a host of other musicians did. Edem took to Twitter to reveal that his politician friends have been rejecting his calls since the election was over. Several other people have over the years lamented that they have been abandoned after getting involved in political campaigns and Edem is the latest to join that bandwagon. Songstress Mzbel has said that Wendy Shay's response to Keche Joshua after he said she was depressed was childish and she shouldn't have responded to him. It could be recalled that Keche posted on social media recently that Wendy Shay was going through depression and has resulted in doing drugs to solve her problem. Keche's comments didn't go down well with Wendy Shay. Wendy in return took to Instagram to post a video in which she lambasted Keche for being irresponsible. She went as far as cursing Keche that his daughter will go through worse than she is. Reacting to this on UTV's United Showbiz hosted by Nana Ama McBrown, Mzbel called Wendy Shay's reaction very childish. Mzbel said Keche shouldn't have come to social media to mock a fellow artiste who he believed was going through some difficulties. She said the best thing would have been to contact Wendy and offer help MzBel believes Shay went too far in her response.
