Ghanaian broadcasting company TV3 have made probably the biggest blunder of all time after they sacked the host of their most popular reality show, 'Date Rush', Nii Kpakpo Thompson, to install the favourite of the bosses Giovani Caleb as the new host. 'Date Rush' became arguably the most popular show of 2020 when it aired on TV3 last year. The program itself is a copy of a format found elsewhere in the world, but its execution was poor. The chosen candidates were not interesting enough to keep the public hooked. There was only one saving grace on the show and that was the host Nii Kpakpo Thompson. He singlehandedly saved the show with his flamboyant hosting style. Nii Kpakpo kept fans hooked as he kept the show on track with his quick wit and amazing ability to connect with the contestants.
