Charterhouse Releases Nominees; List for 2020 VGMAs; First-timers pop up

Organizers of The Ghana Music Awards, Charterhouse, has started releasing nominees for the 2020 edition. The nominees' list is expected to be released in tranches. Gospel Song of the Year, Highlife Song of the Year and others have been revealed. Organizers of the annual Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, Charterhouse, has started revealing nominees who have made it for the 2020 edition of the grand event. Charterhouse took to its official Instagram page to start releasing the nominees' list so as to allow fans to vote for their favorite. Among the first categories for the evening of awards were Gospel Song of the Year, High-Life Song of the Year, Hip-Life Song of the Year, Hip-Hop Song of the Year, Reggae/Dancehall Song of the Year and Afrobeats Song of the Year.Artistes who have been nominated include Joey B, Kofi Mole, Sarkodie, Medikal, Strongman Eno Barony, Kwesi Arthur and other greats. The rest of the list would be released from now till 4pm today, February 29, 2020. According to Charterhouse, the board, research team, and the VGMA secretariat reviewed 632 submissions for the year under review to ensure the most qualified made it to the nominees' list.
